Martinipiha is in the middle of the lush and diverse nature of Lohja Island (Lohjansaari). The lake, calcareous rich soil and changing terrain affect the vegetation and nature. The milder climate and rich soild of Lohjansaari makes this the best area for apple growing in Finland. Lohjansaarentie was inaugurated in summer 2007 Arboretum road. On the road you can find the most common trees and bushes as well as many specialties, as for example the over 70 years old ash forest. Martinpiha staff will provide you with booklets about the Arboretum You can also come and see our sheep and chicken, or you can rent our Lapkota and prepare the food there yourself.
